Welcome to part two of How To Develop a Growth Mindset. In this article, we’ll going to learn how to create realistic goals for developing a growth mindset.

If you haven’t read part one, you can read it here. In the last post, we talked about what a growth mindset is and the importance of learning new skills for developing a growth mindset and for life in general.

Like I said in the last post,

“With any goal in life, there are skills we need in order to actually achieve those goals. I like to say that most things in life are skills and skills can be learned. So, if you’re new to this growth mindset stuff, being nervous or skeptical is normal. When a person chooses to give their life to Jesus, they are entering into a new relationship. Like all relationships, this one needs to be cultivated, nurtured, and nourished. That’s where spiritual disciplines come into play.

Simply put, spiritual disciplines are behaviors and activities that Christians intentionally pursue with the objective of growing closer to the Lord. These behaviors can be things like starting the day with a devotional or spending time in prayer for the needs of others.

I’ll go into more detail on this topic in another post. But, for now, what you need to know is that there are many resources out there designed to support spiritual disciplines.
